Vilde Haugrønning

Vilde Haugrønning holds a master’s degree from the Centre for Development and the Environment (SUM) at the University of Oslo and a bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology and Visual Culture from NTNU.
She is a Researcher at Consumption Research Norway (SIFO), Oslo Metropolitan University, where she recently completed her PhD. Her research focuses on clothing consumption, sustainability, and everyday practices, with particular attention to gender and clothing volumes. Using practice theory and wardrobe studies, she explores how social practices shape clothing use, acquisition, and accumulation, and their implications for more sustainable consumption.
