Dr. Hye-Shin Kim is a Professor in the Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies at the University of Delaware. An expert in textile and apparel industry applied research, she has published on topics related to sustainability, social media, consumer motivations, and online communities in various journal outlets including the International Journal of Fashion Design, Technology and Education, Journal of Global Fashion marketing, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management and the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal. Dr. Kim teaches courses in fashion business, consumer behavior, and sustainability. She also serves as the faculty director for the international fashion internship program.
