I am a doctoral researcher in Global Studies specializing in sustainable fashion, circular economy systems, and political ecology. My research examines the global political and economic dynamics of textile waste, with a focus on how sustainability initiatives shape consumer behavior, trust, and responsibility. I pay particular attention to the transnational impacts of clothing recycling, including the movement of used textiles to the Global South and its broader implications for environmental justice. I have taught courses in International Relations and African Politics and have delivered guest lectures on circular fashion, waste governance, and ethical consumption.
