Anikó Gál earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Sustainability and Wellbeing from the University of Ferrara (Italy) in 2025. Her research focuses on material culture, fashion theory, transition design, generational studies and qualitative research methods. Her publications examine fashion as cultural phenomenon, sustainability, desire, degrowth, wardrobe research and fashion narratives. Her dissertation explored the everyday fashion practices of older adults, offering critical perspectives on sustainability and consumption through wardrobe studies.
