India already holds practices the world is trying to relearn: zero-waste draping, natural dyes, and a culture of mending and reuse- alongside a landmark model of worker-led accountability born in Tamil Nadu. This introductory webinar looks at both: what India’s traditions already get right, and what it takes to protect that everywhere clothes are made.

Speaker Bios:

Shivali Sahay | Founder, House of Sahay

Shivali Sahay is the founder of House of Sahay, a fashion and lifestyle house built around thoughtful design, material exploration and a more conscious approach to consumption. With 15 years in the fashion industry, she has built two brands under its umbrella: BLK SHI:P, a slow and conscious label working in linen and cotton with relaxed, inclusive silhouettes, and FYGMNT, a B2B-led lifestyle brand exploring material innovation for businesses, spaces and everyday life. Her practice is guided by a simple philosophy: respect what already exists, question what can be created next, and make conscious choices without compromising on creativity.
