Emotional durability, wearer-clothing relationships and clothing waste are my main research interests and I investigate these using practice-based methods to capture the embodied experience of living with clothes. While I have presented and published my work in academic contexts, I see my most impactful contributions as those engaging the public.
I delivered a sell-out workshop on writing love letters to cherished garments at a well-established local literary festival, which was also featured on local radio. My research on clothing waste has also been featured in The Guardian, where it became the most-read environment story on the day of publication.
