Mingke Wang is a PhD researcher in Design Engineering at Imperial College London and an alumna of UAL’s MA Fashion Futures. Her research sits at the intersection of sustainable fashion, advanced textiles and human-centred technology, examining how material innovation and responsive systems can reshape how people value, use and relate to clothing. Her contributions span biomaterials, digital craft preservation, smart textiles and knit-integrated soft robotics. She brings four years of sustainability consulting for fashion and sportswear clients, including LVMH, Kering and Nike, alongside product strategy and consumer insight experience at Adidas.
