Dr Mazed Islam is Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Fashion and Textile Management and Co-Founder of the Sustainable Fashion and Digital Transformation Research Group at the University of Southampton. His research focuses on sustainability, circularity, responsible production and consumption, sustainable supply chains, and digital transformation in fashion systems. He has published extensively (70+ outputs) in leading international journals and publishers. Alongside research, he leads sustainability-focused teaching, curriculum development and doctoral supervision, advancing sustainability transitions and responsible production and consumption across fashion and textile systems.
