Dr. Jasmina Burek is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her work advances life cycle assessment, circular economy, and sustainability analytics. Through her NSF CAREER project (Award #2542794), she develops next-generation methods for assessing circular textile and apparel systems, linking production, consumption, reuse, repair, remanufacturing, and recycling. Her research supports sustainable fashion consumption by connecting environmental modeling with policy, education, and community action.
